How are network installation services relevant to the client?
As mentioned previously; no matter the size of business, whether it has two computers or two-thousand, a network is an absolute must.
The type of network that you require is – the majority of the time - dependent on the size of your business. For instance, a small business with one office will only need a local area network (LAN) to share software such as a database or hardware such as a printer.
On the other hand, a company with numerous offices in various locations may want to link a number of LANs together via a wide area network (WAN). A WAN again brings associated benefits such as application, file and equipment sharing across a large geographical area.
Another type of network connection available is a virtual private network (VPN) - also known as a virtual private dialup network (VPDN). A VPN is used to connect a remote computer or LAN across the internet to a network via a VPN tunnel. This means that employees can work at locations away from their usual location such as home or another office by connecting to the office LAN over the internet.
By installing a network and therefore benefiting from shared data, software and equipment, your business can become more efficient, productive and synergistic. It could also be argued, that in the long run, the sharing of hardware and (in some cases) software will result in less cost due to the duplicate items (e.g. printers) not being needed for each computer.
