How search engine optimisation is relevant to the client

As explained previously, a website is of absolutely no use if no one knows it exists. Once a website has been created, the next step is to ensure that it can be found.

When marketing your website, you have a number of different avenues open to you. Although we can assist with your physical marketing needs (e.g. flyers, posters etc) and your pay per click campaign (i.e. the sponsored links you see on search engines such as Google), our main service is organic search engine optimisation.

Online Development organic search engine optimisation services

All of our websites are very search engine friendly, and in recent years we have invested heavily in the research and development of new technology to integrate a dynamic content-managed back-end with a static search engine friendly front-end. This results in the best of both worlds and is a very important part of our full offering.

Without going into too much detail about the actual process of optimising a website, factors such as website content, domain name, page name, back-end code, front-end code, internal links and external links are all important elements contributing to ranking, and therefore something that we’d be looking to modify to increase website traffic.

What is social media optimisation?

Although Google tries to keep the content of its algorithm top secret, optimisation experts continually try to ‘reverse-engineer’ it. This means that they have a very good (although not perfect) idea of what is contained within its code and therefore what factors are used to determine a website’s eventual ranking.

One thing that is universally accepted is that a factor with heavy influence is the ‘neighbourhood’ of a given website, e.g. which sites link to it, what is contained within those links etc.

Social media optimisation focuses on the fostering of relationships within the neighbourhood. This is a key part of one of our full online marketing plans and something that will see you fly high in the rankings.
