The Autowatch Ghost is an aftermarket CAN bus immobiliser designed to help protect your vehicle against key cloning, hacking and key theft. It communicates with the vehicle’s electronic systems and requires a personal disarm sequence before you drive.

There is no additional key fob or visible LED indication to reveal its location. Instead, you use existing buttons on the steering wheel, dashboard, door panels or centre console, depending on your vehicle.

A sequence that’s yours.

Create a unique, changeable sequence using your vehicle’s buttons, much like entering a PIN. Our previous website described sequences between 4 and 20 presses; we’ll explain the options supported by your vehicle and the system fitted.

Ghost features

• CAN bus immobilisation: communicates with the vehicle’s ECU over its on-board data network.
• Existing vehicle buttons: enter your disarm sequence using compatible controls already in your vehicle.
• Discreet operation: no additional key fob or visible LED, with no transmitted radio-frequency signal used for the button-based disarm process.
• A changeable sequence: update your own disarm sequence when needed.
• Service and valet mode: lets you hand over your vehicle without sharing your personal sequence, subject to the system’s operating conditions.
• Emergency access: a unique emergency code provides a recovery route if you forget your sequence.
• Vehicle-specific advice: we check compatibility and explain the features available with your installation.

The archived page described a mobile application supporting two phones for convenient disarming. App support and phone compatibility depend on the system version. Ask us to confirm the current options before booking.

What does TASSA mean?

TASSA is a third-party vehicle-security verification body. Our archived page referred to TASSA-verified Ghost-II systems and associated vehicle marking linked to the International Security Register.

Ask us to confirm the certification, marking and installation documentation supplied with your chosen system. If you need to meet an insurance condition, check your insurer’s exact requirements before booking; fitting an immobiliser does not automatically guarantee insurance acceptance or a reduced premium.
